I don't talk about conviction trades much, but, for the first time in my life I'm actually well-positioned to actually take a high conviction trade. PSA, I am an awful trader, but my conviction plays usually turn out well. A history of me being early, but always too poor: $BTC at $350, but I bought a MIDI keyboard instead. I faded until 2017. $TSLA at $60, but I didn't have $60 to my name. In 2017 I bought $ADA at $0.02 $TRX at $0.007 $ETH at $150 But I sold it all to pay rent for a measly $750 profit (3x my investment. However: I bought $SOL at $30, and again at $20 $TRUMP at $3, but fumbled it on M3M3 -> 10x'd small size $GOAT at $0.30 -> 10x'd small size $CLAUDE (goat deriv) 100x'd small size Now I'm hoping $ORE ends up being the high size (for me) conviction play that removes me from the trenches once and for all. Time in the market > timing the market. If I hadn't faded things because I "missed them," I would be in a lot better place.
