Stable that allocates capital for risky business operations is not a stable, it's a debt note. A stable that does not let you withdraw when you need it is not a stable. There are so many capital raises with 0 rights in the space masquerading as stables right now. Buyers of these run behind collecting points for airdrops, and amazing yields. Know where your stables go and where your yields come from.
A 10% yield on 1 stable is not the same as 10% yield on another. We know where DAI's yield comes from. We know where Hylo's yield comes from. We know where Aave, Kamino and Ethena's yield comes from.
Do you know where your favourite stable's vault on a lending protocol yield comes from? From where it can afford to give you 5% incentives on top from? Just hanging the token carrot infront of you and making you blind.
Right now, the only stables I have are USDC, USDS, CRT and hyUSD. I know where my yields come from. Do you?
Yesterday, an external fund manager overseeing Stream funds disclosed the loss of approximately $93 million in Stream fund assets.
In response, Stream is in the process of engaging Keith Miller and Joseph Cutler of the law firm Perkins Coie LLP, to lead a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
We are actively withdrawing all liquid assets and expect this process to be completed in the near term
To keep our stakeholders informed, we will provide periodic updates as additional information becomes available. Until we are able to fully assess the scope and causes of the loss, all withdrawals and deposits will be temporarily suspended. Any pending deposits will not be processed at this time.
